This poor, well-drained soil rich in minerals gives our Chenin Blanc an expression of great precision. The wine captivates with its chiseled freshness, fine aromas of white flowers, citrus, and yellow-fleshed fruits, all carried by a remarkable mineral tension. The palate, straight and elegant, extends into a saline finish, a signature of the finest Savennières. Savennières
Le Parc 2019
Savennières – Le Parc, volcanic depth and timeless elegance Le Parc is a rare cuvée, sourced from a plot under organic farming located in the former park of Château de Chamboureau, considered one of the historic clos of the Savennières appellation. This vineyard rests on a unique terroir of hard rhyolite, a volcanic rock formed in the primary era, covered by a loamy-sandy soil. This composition provides the soil with excellent drainage and low vigor, ideal conditions for producing grapes of remarkable concentration and finesse. The resulting wine is a great white wine for aging, with a mineral, straight, and refined profile. With remarkable precision, Le Parc reveals subtle aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus, and a beautiful saline tension in the finish. It embodies all the nobility of great dry Chenins, with exceptional aging potential. Recognized by international critics, Le Parc received a score of 94/100 from James Suckling, and its 2018 vintage was awarded a score of 97/100 by Decanter along with a Platinum medal, thus securing its place among the greatest white wines of the Loire. Roche Aux Moines
Roche aux Moines 2018
Roche aux Moines Nestled on a rocky promontory overlooking the Loire, our Roche aux Moines parcels benefit from an exceptional location near Savennières, in the Loire Valley. This unique terroir, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages, was once part of the lands of the Abbey of Saint-Nicolas d’Angers. This millennia-old history gives these vines a soul and depth that can be found in each of our bottles. The schist soils, the ideal full south exposure, and the Loire microclimate create an environment perfectly suited for the pure expression of Chenin Blanc, the only grape variety allowed in the appellation. The natural conditions are enhanced by demanding viticultural practices: no herbicides or insecticides, very low yields, prohibition of chaptalization… All these choices aim to preserve the authenticity and aromatic richness of the wine. Originating from certified organic farming, our Roche aux Moines wines stand out for their great complexity, intense minerality, and remarkable aging potential. On the palate, their finesse and structure make them exceptional companions for refined dishes such as smoked eels, a veal tenderloin with old-fashioned mustard, or pressed cheese. Our efforts are recognized internationally: our Roche aux Moines cuvée was praised by the famous American critic James Suckling with a score of 95/100 for the 2018 vintage and was awarded a Gold medal by the prestigious Decanter competition. Anjou
Le Cochet 2018
Anjou Villages – Cuvée Le Cochet Located in the heart of the Rochefort-sur-Loire vineyard, the parcel Le Cochet surrounds the Domaine FL and benefits from a remarkable terroir, composed of schists and clays. It is on these typical soils of Anjou noir that our red grape varieties thrive: Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. In this Anjou Villages cuvée, the Cabernet Franc expresses all its aromatic delicacy through subtle notes of fresh raspberry and violet, while the Cabernet Sauvignon brings depth, structure, and an elegantly crafted tannic framework. Carefully aged in oak barrels, Le Cochet develops additional complexity: a finely integrated woodiness that highlights the nobility of the blend without masking the fruit. The result is a refined red wine, both powerful and elegant, balanced between aromatic richness and freshness. A perfect companion for grilled red meats, game, or stews, Le Cochet is a wine of character that can be enjoyed today but also offers great aging potential. Also available in magnum. Layon Hills
The 4 Villages 2019
Coteaux du Layon – The 4 Villages, the balance between richness and freshness. Exclusively made from Chenin Blanc, this Coteaux du Layon is born from the unique alchemy between the grape variety and noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), which naturally concentrates the sugars in the berries to offer a sweet wine of great complexity. The 4 Villages reveals a harmonious sweetness perfectly balanced by a lively and refreshing acidity, which gives it energy and lightness. On the palate, the aromas of candied fruits, pear, honey, and white flowers intertwine delicately. It pairs wonderfully with foie gras, a pear with nuts, or even a mild blue cheese. Its name pays tribute to the origin of the grapes, carefully harvested from plots located in four villages surrounding our cellar, where tradition and modernity unite to reveal the quintessence of Chenin. Served well chilled, The 4 Villages is an ideal companion for an aperitif by the Loire, or to conclude a meal on an elegant and gourmet note. Rated 92/100 by James Suckling, a prominent American critic, this wine embodies the finesse and richness of the great sweet wines of the Loire. Also available in magnum. Quarts De Chaume Grand Cru
Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru 2015 - Magnum
Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru This exceptional Grand Cru comes from a rigorous selection, carried out by hand harvesting with several successive sorting, to ensure an optimal concentration of noble rot across the entire harvest (yield of 25 hl/ha). The pressing, gentle and precise, allows for the extraction of all the finesse of the grape. After careful settling, fermentation takes place slowly in temperature-controlled tanks at low temperatures. The aging, conducted in barrels on fine lees, lasts for 18 months, giving the wine remarkable aromatic richness and great complexity. This Quarts de Chaume is only produced in the most favorable vintages. A rare and precious wine, it is made in very limited quantities: only 500 to 600 magnums per year at Domaine FL. Only a few estates have the privilege of cultivating this exceptional terroir. For any request for another vintage or advice contact us
